VT Bluegrass Pioneers at Black Flannel
Come tap your toes and get to dancing at Black Flannel as we’re joined by the VT Bluegrass Pioneers! A dynamic and versatile unit, the Pioneers cut to the core of the soulful sound of authentic bluegrass and deliver a riveting performance full of energy and passion. As performers they like to “leave it all on the field” (or the stage) so that we might leave it all on the dance floor.
The VT Bluegrass Pioneers were founded in 2016 by three of Vermont’s best-known acoustic musicians. Founded by brothers Dan and Willy Linder along with Danny Coane, the group was among the first musicians play bluegrass in the hills of Vermont. As the demand for gigs only grew, they added Sam Blagden and aptly coined themselves as the VT Bluegrass Pioneers.
Their musical endeavors over the years include Banjo Dan & Amp, the Midnite Plowboys, the Sky Blue Boys, the Throbulators, the Radio Rangers, the Starline Rhythm Boys, and much more.
