A collision between Witbier and American IPA, this beer features fruity yeast character from Belgian yeast, the spices common in a Witbier, and the heavy hopping of an American IPA. A true mashup style that is relatively recent in the beer world.
Seemingly oxymoronic, this is a dark beer that remains hop forward, delicately balancing roasted malts and heavy hopping rates to create a wonderfully unique brew. It has fallen in and out of favor with brewers over the years, but seems to be enjoying a small resurgence recently.
An amber, hoppy yet malty American style traditionally featuring hops from the Pacific Northwest. This beer was an outgrowth of the American Pale Ale, and it’s often, though not always, a maltier, darker take on that earlier style.
