Dutch Soul Genever – Unaged
Background
This is our Dutch Genever inspired spirit distilled from a whiskey mash of wheat, corn, rye and barley then on the second distillation, we redistilled it through ten botanicals.
Juniper, coriander, cardamom, cinnamon, sweet orange, bitter orange, clove, and 4 other unique freshly sourced botanicals.
The result is this absolutely beautiful and very complex sipping Gin. The botanicals and the grains layer together perfectly and deliver an unfurling flavor experience on the palate.
Try this unique spirit in a rocks glass over ice with a squirt of lime juice and a drizzle of maple syrup.
All of our Gins are twice-distilled using botanicals in the still column to maximize extraction of the exquisite blend of botanicals used in their production.
The Result?
Unlike any Gin produced in Vermont, this is the OG. The original “Old World” gin (Jenever/Genever) produced for centuries in Holland. It how UK distillers learned how to make London Dry and Plymouth Gins. Travis Johnson traveled to Amsterdam to learn more about the process and production techniques. We all benefit from his curiosity and attention to detail.
