Black Flannel’s take on a classic, a highly sessionable and delicious German style Pilsner. Aromas of floral Mittelfrüh hops and light bready malts pair naturally with a balanced and complex flavor profile with just a touch of bitterness. Its subtlety is truly its strength.
North German Pilsner brewed using traditional ingredients and processes. The distinction of “North” implies that this is a slightly more bitter version of the style. In Germany the southern versions are slightly less bitter, while the Northern versions have more of an assertive bitterness. One of our core beers, this beer is now available throughout the state in 16oz cans and on draft.
Goes great with many food offerings including Smash Burgers, Bavarian Pretzels, & Nashville Hot Chicken.

Black Flannel is on top of the Vermont craft brewing scene... Their depth of knowledge, skill, and ability to innovate and improvise on core styles, is unparalleled in the northeast... (they are) possibly one of the best craft breweries, in these United States.
