velnias

baltic porter

Dark. Sinister. Rich. Complex.

OG: 18.8° Plato   FG: 4.6° Plato   IBU: 25

SRM: 42   ABV: 7.2%

On the nose, a wonderfully rich and complex aroma of baker’s chocolate, graham crackers, pecans, and toffee that lead your taste buds on a journey of similar flavors before finishing dangerously clean; only leaving a hint of residual sweetness and light ethanol. A dark beer so brimming with malty complexity, you might just forget it’s a lager.

This dark and boozy beer may not look like your typical lager, and it may have deep, rich, malty complexity unlike your typical lager, but that’s because this is not your typical lager people. This sinister and mysterious beer has been given the name Velnias after the ancient Baltic god of the underworld, of lament, and of gardening of course. (Seriously we didn’t make this up). DRINK THIS UP YUM.

The most refreshing 7% dark lager you’ve ever had.
